I’m an interior designer, cultural enthusiast, former HGTV host, restaurateur, and philanthropist with a passion for redefining luxury in the 21st century. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with inspiring figures like Dr. Jane Goodall and immersing myself in diverse cultural traditions, which have shaped my approach to design. My ongoing research into sustainable design practices and my experiences with global cultural traditions inform my belief that luxury today is about more than opulence—it’s about designing thoughtfully, discovering rare pleasures in our modern world, and embracing the wisdom of the past to shape a more sustainable future.
As one of my favorite designers put it, “Luxury in the 21st century is no longer about an ethos of riches, but of qualities that are hard to come by in our modern urbanized world. Space, fresh air, silence, slowness, time, handcraft, and quality.” This sentiment resonates deeply with me and guides my work.
While completing my Master of Interior Design in NYC in 2014, I discovered my soul song: to create spaces that feel as meaningful as they are beautiful. In 2024, this journey culminates with Big Little Luxuries, where we’ll explore how design can inspire individuality and the true essence of luxury in our homes.
